My Painted Lady is a Peacock!

Spring is bursting forth here in the Cotswolds and set up my space outside in the sunshine to do the finishing touches to this little beauty.
Very nerve wracking doing the antennae but overall pleased with the result and think it will be a contender to get printed as cards. I got the variety mixed up and it is in fact a Peacock - but always loved these as a child and enjoyed trying to emulate it’s delicate patterns - nature is so inspiring and lovely to get absorbed in the observation of it’s beauty. Enjoy the spring sunshine - I’m off to the allotment!
